Mentalist Show
★4.8(20 reviews)This is a mentalist show that is better for intimate dinners or small events, and it can be adjusted to fit small and large venues. The show includes a series of mental tricks and mind reading demonstrations the way it used to be performed at the end of the 19th century, where a psychic would be invited to entertain the guests.
Matias will also perform tricks specially created for the event by using your company, products or services. All of this, along with the finest mentalism and smoothest pickpocketing, will leave everybody laughing and amazed.
Travel fee will apply for shows more than 50 miles away from New York. All programs come with 1 hour of complementary walk around magic.

What people say
Matias is a consummate professional. His performance is outstanding and highly engaging, and he is also very flexible to meet your individual needs and work within any creative constraints. His responsive communication before and during the performance put me at ease with the planning and execution of my event. I cannot recommend Matias highly enough.
Fabulous show!! We were all amazed by the magic Matias performed, particularly his amazing stage illusions (as good as anything I've seen performed on TV by bigger name magicians like David Copperfield). It's a very interactive and fun show. Matias had a great rapport with the audience, inviting people up on stage and involving them in the magic. He was also very, very funny! (something I hadn't expected). Also, I've seen many other magicians perform, and often they are vulgar and pitch their shows to the lowest common denominator. Not Matias--he treated everyone with respect and let his magic speak for itself--and it spoke eloquently of his warmth and humanity. My highest recommendation.
I hosted a 35th birthday for myself and wanted to spice things up a bit from the usual drinks and conversation. I thought to myself, what would be more fun than magic!
I started looking online and found a few sites that book magicians, put out a quote and immediately got a very strong response. It can be overwhelming the choices, but Matias was the clear favorite and I was happy he ended up winning the bid.
Matias is extremely professional, but not stuffy. Cool, fun magic show that kept my guests mesmerized the whole time. I am especially a fan of coin tricks and his were amazing! Card tricks equally impressive.
I highly recommend Matias for any party. Your guests will be just as excited as mine were and it'll definitely be a night to remember.
We hired Matias recently to help us with entertainment for a corporate event for a huge number of geeks (aka IT developers) at Teak on the Hudson, Hoboken.
It was a decision we are more than thrilled that we made. Matias was wonderful and charismatic with all attendees. He performed roving style magic while guests arrived and then an outstanding show which was the highlight of the event.
Smiles were everywhere, amazement was plentiful, and everyone was beyond impressed with what Matias had to offer! He displayed the epitome of professionalism and was a delight to work with. We would most certainly hire Matias again and would recommend him for any private or corporate function where entertainment is desired!
Thank you Matias! We are really amazed with the level of professionalism and the dozen of awesome emotions we have enjoyed.
We wanted to add something fun for my husband's 34th birthday party so I started searching for magicians. I was overwhelmed with the many responses I got from Thumbtack, but Matias was clearly above the rest, and immediately offered a free demonstration. Within less than 5 minutes he had my in-laws and myself laughing and wanting to see more. He gave us a great deal, and we booked him for my husband's party. It was AMAZING! He was always in constant communication with me, to make sure everything was running smoothly. He arrived early, was super friendly and personable, and everyone loved his top-notch magic tricks and great personality. Oh yes, he also has a charming accent! He took several of our friends' watches and left everyone smiling and amazed. By the end of the party, we knew we had booked the best magician in NYC! Everybody came to thank me after the party. I would highly recommend him for parties (especially with adults) and will definitely hire him again! Thanks again Matias for a wonderful and magical night!
Matias exhibited skills of an experienced magician, detail oriented and fun. The program was interactive and age appropriate. Matias was able to accomondate last minute changes and had a positive and energetic demeanor through the entire performance. Thanks again
Very unorganized left me hanging two days before my event for 80 people after previously confirming.
Nice magician, great person, excellent performance, very entertaining acts, strongly recommend him.
